Gifts for a UVA Tradition

215 E Main St, Charlottesville, VA 22902
3rd-Year Ring Ceremony is a long-lasting tradition at UVA, in which students are celebrated and congratulated for their work throughout the year. And, of course, receive their class rings if they ordered. In the past, many students wouldn’t come to the event as rings are expensive and sometimes unattainable. This year, they wanted to have something to give back to every student, as every student deserves to be in attendance and receive the praise they deserve.

I was commissioned to design a graphic for the complementary champagne glasses that would be given to every 3rd-Year student.
The graphic combines the UVA ring design of Minerva, Roman goddess of wisdom, with commemorative Class of 2025 text.
Hundreds of these glasses were produced and given to students, marking a commemorative moment in our college careers.

Developed and Finished in October 2023

In collaboration with Third Year Council
